Are you an expert and passionate about creating automated solutions, and driven to help clients optimize their operations?
We’re looking for a highly creative and curios individual (mid-senior and senior candidates) who leads complex consulting engagements involving in-depth data analysis and innovative material handling solutions. Work directly with customers, sales team, and engineering teams to identify customer requirements and develop cost effective designs. Successfully present data and solutions while developing strong trust-based relationships with clients.
Responsibilities:
- Develop strong customer relationships through superior problem solving
- Travel to customer sites to review and document existing logistics operations
- Work closely with customers to define requirements, business changes, and future projections
- Manage Data Analysts in identifying key data points required to design and justify concepts
- Develop innovative solutions that exceed customers’ expectations
- Oversee Design Engineers to develop detailed material handling system designs
- Manage computer simulation modeling of proposed material handling systems
- Perform labor analysis and Return on Investment calculations to justify proposed design
- Build confidence with the client through clear and effective presentations
- Support the sales presentation and proposal development process
- Perform pre-sales support activities, such as trade shows, etc., as required
- Guide and train Consulting and Engineering Team members on shared projects
- Research and educate organization on latest material handling technologies and trends in the industry
- Assist in identifying process improvements and best practices for Consulting Department
- Develop tools required to effectively perform job functions

Requirements
- Education: 4-year BS Degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering is preferred)
- Experience: 4 + years experience with automated material handling solutions. Senior candidates: 8 + year of experience with automated material handling solutions and 2+ years in pre-sales Consulting.
- Software Skills: Autodesk AutoCAD (2D), MS 365 (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), MS SQL is a plus
- Excellent knowledge of material handling technologies and how they are applied
- Knowledge of data analysis in the logistics industry and ability to clearly present findings to clients
- Ability to lead detailed solution design process both internally and externally
