Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team at DeCoach Recovery. The LPN will play a crucial role in our residential treatment program, ensuring that our clients receive high-quality medical care and support throughout their recovery journey. This position requires a compassionate and detail-oriented individual who is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of individuals struggling with addiction.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing care and support to clients undergoing addiction treatment in a residential setting.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the attending physician or nurse practitioner.
  • Monitor clients' vital signs and overall health status, reporting any changes or concerns to the medical team.
  • Assist with medical assessments, screenings, and intake processes for new clients.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team including physicians, therapists, and counselors to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Educate and counsel clients on health management, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications to support recovery.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation according to regulatory standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA guidelines.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a licensed practical nurse (LPN) in the state of Ohio.
  • Previous experience in addiction treatment, behavioral health, or psychiatric nursing is preferred.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
  • Understanding of addiction and its impact on individuals and families.
  • Proficient computer skills for documentation and record-keeping.

Monday through Friday 8am - 430pm and Saturday 9am - 11am two times a month.
