Precision Imaging Centers is currently hiring a Part-Time MRI Technologist Assistant to support our Jacksonville Beach outpatient imaging center. This position offers a consistent schedule, paid time off, and bonus opportunities tied to positive patient reviews.
Schedule:
- Tuesdays & Thursdays: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Saturdays: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Additional hours or minor adjustments may be added based on business needs, so flexibility is a plus.
About the Role:
As an MRI Technologist Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting our MRI team by delivering excellent patient care, maintaining workflow efficiency, and ensuring safety in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and complete safety screening/history
- Perform venipuncture (as needed)
- Assist with patient positioning and exam preparation
- Coordinate workflow to maintain efficiency
- Verify orders and documentation accurately
- Provide patient education and reassurance
- Perform light housekeeping, sanitization, and supply restocking
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1+ year of medical terminology experience preferred
- MRI safety knowledge and prior MRI assistance preferred
- Venipuncture preferred
- Phlebotomy and BLS certification preferred
