Description

BCDI is adding a full-time Insurance Navigator to our growing team! The Insurance Navigator is responsible for assisting our patients with insurance enrollments through one-on-one meetings. He or she will educate patients and their families on choosing the best plan available to them including employer sponsored, Medicare, Medicaid, CHIP and Marketplace plans. If you are a motivated individual who would like to work with a team of experienced, upbeat coworkers in a friendly and warm atmosphere, please apply today!

Salary Range: $62,000 - $72,000 dependent upon education and experience

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent training or experience.

2. Experience working with low-income communities preferably at a non-profit or community-based organization within a multi-ethnic/multi-cultural environment preferred.

3. Experience with public benefits eligibility and/or work experience in the health care industry preferred.

4. Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe PDF Pro.

5. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

6. Ability to effectively collaborate with co-workers and clients in virtual and in-person settings.

7. Must not be licensed to sell insurance or must be willing to cancel such license.
