Now Hiring: 2nd Shift Order Selector
Location: Scavuzzo’s Foodservice – Kansas City, KS
Schedule: 5:00 PM – Finish (40+ hours per week)
Pay: $21.50/hour + Incentives
About Us
Scavuzzo’s Foodservice is a family-owned and operated company. We are looking for experienced Order Selectors to join our 2nd shift warehouse team.
Position Overview
The Order Selector is responsible for accurately and efficiently picking customer orders, building pallets, and preparing products for delivery. This position uses the Vocollect system and requires the ability to work quickly, safely, and as part of a team.
What You’ll Do
- Pick and organize orders with multiple products according to invoices.
- Operate electric pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment.
- Load, unload, and stock products in dry, refrigerated, and freezer storage areas.
- Inspect product for accuracy and quality.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Perform other related warehouse duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous order selecting experience required.
- High school diploma or equivalent (or 3–5 years related experience).
- Ability to lift/move up to 75 lbs. and retrieve items from shelves up to 5.5 feet high.
- Strong communication skills and commitment to excellent customer service.
- Dependable, safety-minded, and willing to work in a team environment.

Requirements
Placement Criteria
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, or 3-5 years in the field or in a related area, or suitable combination of education and relevant experience preferred;
- Previous order selecting experience required;
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively and professionally, and provide exceptional service, both internally and externally at all times.

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this position the employee is regularly required to sit and talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is consistently required to stand, walk, and drive or ride in a motor vehicle. The employee must consistently lift and/or move up to 75 lbs. and must be able to retrieve boxes consistently from a height of 5 ½ foot.
