The Role

As our Director of IT, you’ll be the go-to leader responsible for keeping our systems secure, efficient, and scalable. You’ll oversee company-wide technology, data security, facilities, and vendor management, making sure every solution supports our business priorities. A big part of your impact will come from managing and configuring our virtual contact center — from call routing to prioritization — ensuring our customers connect seamlessly with the help they need. You’ll also serve as a trusted advisor to the VP of Business & Product, translating business goals into smart technical execution. The right person for this role blends IT expertise, leadership skills, and business savvy to drive innovation, protect our data, and help fuel the company’s growth.

What You’ll Do

IT Leadership & Strategy

• Manage IT staff by recruiting, training, and coaching employees, communicating job expectations, and appraising their performance.
• Define, deliver, and support strategic plans for implementing information technologies aligned with organizational goals.
• Act as a trusted advisor to the leadership team, translating technical capabilities into business outcomes.
• Recommend IT strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organizational needs, identifying problems, and anticipating requirements.
• Ensure IT initiatives improve efficiency, customer engagement, and profitability.

Systems & Security

• Oversee the security of data, network access, backup systems, and disaster recovery protocols.
• Audit systems and assess their outcomes, ensuring performance, compliance, and reliability.
• Manage configuration, performance, and prioritization of the company’s virtual contact center, ensuring call routing, selection, and queuing align with business goals.

Operations & Facilities

• Plan and oversee building maintenance and operational programs.
• Manage vendor contracts and negotiate bids for third-party services.
• Maintain a safe and secure work environment for employees and facilities.
• Coordinate building security, space allocation, and maintenance schedules.
• Prepare cost estimates for moves, equipment, and facility upgrades.

Requirements

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• A track record of IT leadership, including building and guiding teams, managing infrastructure, and overseeing key vendor partnerships.
• Hands-on expertise with virtual contact center platforms (e.g., Five9, Genesys, NICE, Talkdesk, or similar), with deep knowledge of call routing, prioritization, and optimization.
• Proven ability to align IT systems, policies, and tools with overall business strategy and revenue objectives.
• Experience designing and implementing disaster recovery plans, cybersecurity measures, and compliance frameworks.
• Strong vendor management skills, from negotiation to contract oversight.
• Solid business acumen with the ability to clearly translate technical concepts for executive leadership and cross-functional partners.
