Brief Description:

 

AFC Industries, a leading distributor of industrial fasteners and assembly components, is looking for an experienced Account Manager to join their Askew Marine brand in support of the Naval Marine sector.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of experience specifying, buying, and selling products into the military marine market. Experience in military fasteners is a plus, and a willingness to learn is a requirement!

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES include growing the Askew Marine brand by servicing customers with the following responsibilities:

  • Work with vendors to obtain pricing and delivery
  • Collaborate with supply chain and other internal departments to ensure on-time delivery of products to customers
  • Present, promote and sell products/services to existing and prospective customers
  • Receive inbound emails and phone calls from customers and provide accurate responses to issues and concerns
  • Enter and maintain customer and vendor data in ERP system
  • Other duties as assigned

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • 2–5 years military fastener sales (preferred)
  • Must be a team player
  • High attention to detail
  • High mechanical aptitude
  • MS Office Suite proficiency
  • Professional attitude, appearance, and work habits with a desire to excel and be part of a team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Full remote position
  • Travel as needed
