Position: Teaching Artistry Program Manager

Department: Lincoln Center Education

Role Overview: The Teaching Artist Program Manager (TAPM) is responsible for administering the day-to-day operations of the teaching artist faculty, contributing to the overall strategy and execution of the faculty’s professional development needs throughout the year. The TAPM works closely with key Education staff to ensure Lincoln Center Education is in compliance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement in all its efforts working with Teaching Artists. This position is responsible for the overall integrity of data systems used to track and safeguard the labor management processes of the Teaching Artist faculty.  

What you'll get to do here:

  • Track and manage all required teaching artist trainings, work assignments within all systems at LCPA
  • Oversee recruitment and onboarding/training efforts for LCE’s teaching artists
  • Develop and maintain a feedback review process for the faculty
  • With the oversight of the Associate Director, Education Operations, this position will maintain and oversee the integrity of data in CRM- contact info, assignment linking to other boards etc.
  • Support in the development of teaching artist professional development events, ensuring its alignment with current mission, initiatives and trends in the field 
  • Work closely with Director, Teaching Artistry Program on the conceptualization and curation of LCE’s annual Summer Forum event. 
  • Provide assistance to teaching artist staff on administrative access to LCPA platforms as needed
  • Supervise and approve all teaching artist timecards on a bi-weekly basis
  • Develop and communicate the TA E-newsletter monthly
  • Schedule all meetings involving teaching artist and staff outside of accepted assignments 

You'll be a fit if you bring:

  • Bachelor's degree with 3+ years experience preferred or equivalent years of related experience required
  • Keen knowledge and affinity for program management systems, CRMs and other databases
  • Experience overseeing or supervising a faculty or staff
  • Detail oriented, organized
  • Acute time-management skills
  • Budget and expense management 
  • Love for arts in education
  • Deep appreciation for teachers, teaching artists and the life-long learner
