Student Worker – Research Assistant 18-th-Century Women’s Anti-Libraries Project

Purpose/Objective of the Role:
To provide research assistance and support for my ongoing project on the writings of 18th-c women left unfinished due to maternal death
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Assist with tasks associated with literature review: article searches in academic/peer-reviewed journals
- Investigate and catalogue digital humanities projects related to maternal mortality/women’s bodies
- Research repositories of manuscripts housing fragmentary and unfinished writings
- Help organize research findings into digital archive maintained by faculty member
Qualifications/Skills:
- One semester of 18th-c. Literature and or Art History
- Reading knowledge in French, Spanish or German
