SUMMARY:Description: Primary responsibilities in manufacturing are to drive department and enterprise key initiatives through continuous process improvement, improving customer satisfaction, reducing waste, increasing efficiency, and eliminating variation in manufacturing processes. Candidates for this position should have energy and passion to improve both our production and functional processes while leading with integrity.RESPONSIBILITIES:Optimize productivity through the implementation of the Lean Six Sigma manufacturing methodologyManage projects with little supervision to develop and maintain timing and costRedesign work plans and work stations to reduce ergonomic riskConduct strategic logistics planning for both incoming raw materials and outgoing finished products.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:BS in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering or other related engineering fieldsMinimum GPA of 3.0Experience with application of engineering principlesWord, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, AutoCAD or similar CAD experienceStrong written and verbal communication skillsTeam player with ability to work on multiple projectsProject Management – PMBOK, Design of Experiment – DOE, Finite Element Analysis, Failures Modes Effects and Analysis, Design for Assembly, Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma are all preferred qualificationsCOMPENSATION: Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process.
