MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S): | - Possess a valid Clear California Teaching Credential
- Experience leading successful collaboration efforts
- Strong organizational, technology, and verbal and written communication skills

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION(S): | Prior experience serving on a WASC Visiting Committee and/or serving as a WASC Self-Study Facilitator. |

Job Description
POSITION: WASC Self-Study Facilitator
REPORTS TO: Principal
RESPONSIBILITIES
Facilitate the school’s accreditation process in collaboration with the school leadership team. The extent/depth of the duties aligned with this responsibility will vary according to the school’s placement in the six-year accreditation cycle.
COMPENSATION
According to the Collective Bargaining Agreement (3.15.5), the WASC Facilitator shall be responsible for supporting administration with self-study preparation, and preparing for WASC team visits. Stipend for WASC Facilitator shall be as follows, according to the Six-Year Accreditation Cycle:
Year 1 – Five (5) hours annually
Year 2 – Five (5) hours annually
Year 3 – Mid-Cycle Progress Report – Twenty-five (25) hours annually
Year 3 – Mid-Cycle Progress Report and Visit – Thirty (30) hours annually
Year 4 – Five (5) hours annually
Year 5 – One hundred (100) hours annually
Year 6 – One hundred (100) hours and one (1) release period
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- CA Secondary Teaching Credential
- Experience leading successful collaboration efforts
- Strong organizational, technology, and verbal and written communication skills
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior experience serving on a WASC Visiting Committee and/or serving as a WASC Self-Study Coordinator
