QUALIFICATIONS:
1. EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent preferred
2. EXPERIENCE: Successful experience in a secretarial type position
3. SKILLS: Communications, typing, word processing, computer, ?ling, and general offce skills
4. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Be able to communicate well and to work successfully with students, staff, teachers, and principal.

PRIMARY FUNCTION: To serve as the secretary to the Elementary School Staff and to provide the services outlined below to the students and staff.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Greet visitors and provide necessary assistance as circumstances warrant.
Help route traffic flow for main office - provide assistance to teachers, staff, and students as circumstances warrant.
Refer problem/concern situations to principal objectively and efficiently.
Duplicate materials for the principal, and staff as required.
Post student daily attendance and maintain attendance records.
Complete all student enrollment registertion.
Receive and direct all incoming telephone calls to appropriate individual or station.
Receive and relay all telephone messages to appropriate individual or station.
Receive, sort, and distribute mail daily.
Safeguard all confidential information.
All other duties assigned by the principal.
Maintain all student records
