Job Summary:
onsemi is seeking a self-driven and motivated professional to join their Engineering CAD / EDA tools team, focusing on multi-chip product design workflows. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a critical family of products that are key to onsemi's success and revenue growth.

- Work with EDA application and R&D to develop workflows for multi-chip product verification.
- Support designers verifying multi-chip products including verifying, analyzing and troubleshooting.
- Develop leading edge product design verification flows.
- Provide “out of the box” solutions to verify onsemi's advanced products.
- Develop AI based solutions to improve design verification efficiency.
- Develop reliability verification methodologies to ensure high quality designs.
- Work in a fast paced environment to deliver high quality products.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
- Track project progress in Jira, including integration with product roadmaps.
- Weekly reports.
- Periodic reports to management on progress.
- Overall goals tracking that are part of the onsemi yearly bonus.
- Weekly meetings with various design teams, program management, meeting summaries and tracking action items.
- Expanding skillset through on-line and on the job training (working with EDA Applications Engineers) to learn and apply new tools.
- Periodic review of EDA vendor product roadmaps to determine applicability to products in the development pipe line.
- Responding to support tickets as required.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Preferred Master's or PhD in EE.
- Minimum - Bachelors in EE.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in mixed mode design and / or design verification.
- Power module design and / or verification is a bonus.
- Knowledge of verification tools from Cadence, Siemens or Synopsys, Cadence preferred.
- Working knowledge of Virtuoso, APD, Clarity, Celsius, Voltus, etc.
- Experience in circuit simulation using Cadence Spectre preferred, Simetrix.
- Solid understanding of verification best practices such as verification planning, requirements tracking, and functional coverage required.
- Experience in RTL, UVM, and System Verilog.
- Package design experience is a bonus.
