Requirements

Fairfax Neonatal Associates (FNA) is actively seeking an experienced Board-Certified Neonatologist to join our busy and expanding private practice as a  Level III NICU Medical Director.  FNA provides neonatology services in Northern Virginia for a large health system covering four NICUs. The current medical director position is primarily at one of the Level III community hospital locations, with some clinical time as well at the Level IV NICU at Inova LJ Murphy Children’s Hospital. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and interpersonal skills to foster a collaborative team environment and demonstrate dedication to quality improvement and best clinical practices for neonatal care. FNA participates in the Vermont Oxford Network (VON) and consistently ranks in the top decile across VON measures. Our program has been nationally recognized by the Joint Commission, US News, and other sources as one of the top NICUs in the nation.
