Job Description:

Primary Function: Supports the head coach in all aspects of the men’s and women’s golf programs; plans and conducts practices; coaches during competitions; evaluates athlete performance to foster individual and team development; provides academic support and guidance to student-athletes, including monitoring academic progress and coordinating necessary resources; assists with recruiting efforts in compliance with NCAA regulations; contributes to external relations, such as alumni engagement, fundraising events, and community outreach initiatives; and transports team to competitions as needed.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree; at least two years of golf coaching, golf pro, or collegiate golf playing experience; and excellent administrative and organizational skills required. Golf coaching experience at the collegiate level and experience recruiting student-athletes preferred. Must abide by the rules of the NCAA, the Missouri Valley Conference, and the University of Northern Iowa.
