You’ll be on the road as a staple of your community, and it doesn’t get better than that! We're now hiring for our seasonal period. Seasonal team members generally commence across September and December and depending on parcel volume, assisting us to deliver until around Christmas and into January. There may be potential for an ongoing role beyond. A range of day shifts and PM shifts are available! You’ll be Safely loading/unloading your truck with cages for delivery Completing your own daily vehicle safety check Driving our modern trucks between our operational centres and customers, for deliveries and pick-ups Returning to our operational centres to unload pick-ups You’ll be paid $38.58/hr inclusive of loading plus super, tonnage allowance and potential 15% for day, 30% for night shiftsSome shifts attract penalty rates for overtime, evening, and weekend workYou’ll also have access to ‘Post Perks’ – a benefits platform where you’ll have access to 100s of discounts and offers on heaps of your favourite brands for groceries, fashion, tech, travel and everything in between. About you You maintain a HR licence with some HR driving experienceYou’re safety focused and understand the importance of chain of responsibility You have a customer-centric mindset and effective communication skills You’re fit enough to load and unload parcels of all different shapes, sizes and weights (up to 16kg) You’re prepared to provide a driving history report, undergo an Australia Post specific pre-employment medical - including weight under 130kg for our safe seat limits, drug/alcohol screening and national criminal history checks.
