POSITION:  Adjunct Faculty - General Education

QUALIFICATIONS:  Master’s degree 


RESPONSIBILITIES: To serve as an adjunct faculty member for the general education program, teaching a 3 hour in-person senior seminar undergraduate course. The course provides an opportunity for students to reflect on their life journeys and synthesize their undergraduate experience as they consider their transition from EMU. The course focuses on identity formation, the process of being and becoming, and finding voice. This seminar explores walking as a central part of the human experience. The purpose of the course is to guide students into a creative investigation of their past stories and their future vocations, using trails as the path to do so. Registration is limited to students in their final year of enrollment. This class meets on Mondays and Wednesdays 11:25 AM - 12:15 PM.


POSITION DETAILS: Faculty are contracted per course. Salary determined by education. 


APPOINTMENT DATEThe fall semester course begins August 26 and ends December 12. EMU reserves the right to fill the position at any time or keep the position open.
