The Clinical Treatment Coordinator plays a critical dual role that blends both clinical and administrative responsibilities to support our providers and patients. This position will be instrumental in delivering clinical treatments under physician direction, supporting mental health care coordination, managing daily treatment workflows, and ensuring operational excellence within the clinic.  The ideal candidate is organized, compassionate, tech-savvy, and energized by the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the mental health field.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Support & Patient Care:

  • Administer clinical treatments under physician supervision
  • Conduct screenings and assess patient eligibility based on clinical criteria
  • Collect and record vital signs (height, weight, blood pressure, temperature, etc.)
  • Assist providers during patient consultations and treatment sessions
  • Monitor patients during treatment and document progress in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
  • Coordinate and track treatment schedules, medication management, and follow-up care
  • Assist in crisis situations and understand emergency protocols

Administrative Coordination:

  • Gather and process intake documentation, including obtaining and reviewing medical records
  • Collaborate with billing team for prior authorizations and insurance verifications
  • Ensure secure handling and storage of all patient information in compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality guidelines
  • Handle document management including scanning, faxing, emailing, and uploading into EMR
  • Maintain clinic supplies related to clinical procedures
  • Support internal HR compliance processes such as I-9 and drug screening procedures as needed

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with physicians, clinical staff, and administrative teams to ensure seamless patient experience
  • Communicate with referring providers regarding patient treatment progress
  • Participate in clinic meetings and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
  • Provide exceptional support to patients navigating their care experience

 

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • Associate's or Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
  • 1+ years of experience in a healthcare or mental health setting (preferred)
  • Experience administering or supporting clinical treatments (preferred)
  • Experience working with individuals experiencing depression and anxiety is a plus

Certifications:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (can be obtained after hire)
