Summary
We are seeking an experienced Lead Solutions Technologist with over 15 years of experience in designing analytics & data science solutions and strategies. The Lead Solutions Technologist provides technical and strategic leadership, helping to shape and design scalable, reliable, and cost-effective technology solutions that solve our clients' most complex business challenges.
They work directly with senior business stakeholders and sales teams to analyze client requirements, identify core business problems, and act as the technical voice of our delivery capabilities. This role is a strategic partner to our clients and our internal teams, building the bridge between business needs and a vast portfolio of technology services including Data & Analytics, Application Development, Management, Support, and Testing. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cloud platforms, data governance, and cutting-edge analytics and data science technologies, with a strong blend of technical acumen and strategic leadership.
Responsibilities
- Solutions Strategy & Design
- Lead problem-solving workshops and discovery sessions with clients to understand business challenges and technical needs.
- Design and architect comprehensive solutions, create compelling proposals, and provide technical guidance during pre-sales and implementation.
- Develop high-level solution frameworks and create detailed design specifications that align with business objectives and technical best practices.
- Assess, recommend, and select tools, platforms, and frameworks that align with organizational goals and industry best practices.
- Identify potential risks in proposed solutions and develop proactive mitigation strategies.
- Strategic Leadership
- Collaborate with senior leadership and sales teams to define solution objectives and craft tailored solutions that meet business needs.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, identifying opportunities for value generation and influencing decision-making with innovative, technology-driven solutions.
- Represent the delivery organization in key client conversations to discuss business challenges and opportunities.
- Present business reviews to clients and assist in planning future engagement strategies.
- Technical Expertise & Innovation
- Maintain a deep understanding of emerging technologies across data, analytics, application development, and management.
- Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and approaches to optimize capabilities and drive business value.
- Provide technical guidance to development teams during solution implementation, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and best practices.
- Serve as a technical mentor, guiding and influencing a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Client & Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior executives, and business leaders.
- Collaborate closely with various internal teams such as IT, Quality, Risk, and Information Security to ensure effective management of client solutions.
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for complex issues and manage technical escalations to ensure effective control measures are in place. management of projects
Eligibility Requirements
- Experience
- Minimum of 15 years in senior technology roles, with at least 10 years in a client-facing solutions or technical leadership capacity.
- Strong background in designing complex analytics and technology solutions and crafting business proposals.
- Extensive experience collaborating with senior leadership and leading cross-functional initiatives.
- Proven ability to lead technical teams through complex design challenges and guide them toward successful outcomes.
- Technical Skills
- Deep knowledge of diverse technology platforms, including data platforms (relational, NoSQL), APIs, and microservices.
- Strong familiarity with cloud-based platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
- Demonstrated understanding of data privacy, security, and governance best practices.
- Experience with AI/ML technologies and their application in business solutions.

- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong business acumen with a focus on delivering solutions that drive business value.

- Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in cloud platforms, data architecture, or enterprise architecture (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
- Proven ability to influence at the senior management level and lead complex, cross-functional initiatives.
- Proven ability to extract meaningful insights from complex data sets and communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven experience in applying agile methodologies (such as Scrum) and proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, GitHub).
- Proficiency in at least two major programming languages used for application development, data science, or analytics (e.g., Python, SQL, R, Java, C#, or similar).
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
- Proficiency in applying problem-solving frameworks (such as root cause analysis, Six Sigma, or Design Thinking) to address complex business challenges.
In the US, the target base salary for this role is $200K-$220K. Compensation is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography. We expect the majority of candidates who are offered roles at our company to fall throughout the range based on these factors.
