Under the direction of the site Principal and or Designee, the Impact Teacher will provide small group and one-on-one instruction, including intervention, supporting the school’s instructional program. Performs other related work as necessary or required.

Requirements / Qualifications
To apply for the position of Impact Teacher you must meet one (1) of the minimum requirements below:
- Multiple Subject Teaching credential w/EL authorization
- Verification Letter from the University stating program completion date (must be no later than
end of August 2025) of the Multiple Subject Teaching credential w/EL authorization
- Eligibility for a Short-Term Staff Permit (Requirements: Degree in Liberal Studies or passage of
the CSET AND passage of the Basic Skills Requirement via CBEST or CSET Writing Skills or CSU
Early Assessment Program or Qualifying Score on the SAT/ACT or College Board Advanced
Placement or passage of Basic Skills from Another State)
- Eligibility for a General Education Multiple Subject Limited Assignment Teaching Permit
(Requirements: Holds a valid California Single Subject teaching credential)
Comments and Other Information
SALARY
-$44.26 per hour / $21,864.44 for the 2025/26 school year (based on a start date of September 2025 and working the maximum amount of hours through 06/12/26);
-Impact Teachers who start work in September are paid monthly on a 10-month pay schedule (September-June) at the rate of $2,186.44 per month;
-Impact Teachers who start work in October are paid monthly on a 9-month pay schedule (October-June) at the rate of $2,429.38 per month;
-Impact Teachers will have the opportunity to work additional days as a substitute during their off track days, at the rate of $220.00 per day.
WORK YEAR
-Tentative start date is September or October 2025. Work hours/days for this position will vary depending on work location. Impact Teachers can only work up to 19 hours per week (under contract), totaling 494 hours for the 2025/26 school year (number of hours actually worked will be dependent on start date of employee).
-An example of a work week as an Impact Teacher is M, T, W & F 8:15am - 1:30pm, with Thursdays being off. This is just an example of one of our sites in order to give you an idea what the hours/days could possibly look like.
