Job Summary
Under the direction of a program administrator, assist in the planning, implementation and evaluation of a comprehensive child development program for preschool aged children; provide support to students and parents.

Requirements / Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Graduation from high school required. Enrollment in an Associate or Bachelor degree program preferred. One year experience working with children in an educational setting preferred.
SCOE Application
Must be 18 years old.
Valid Driver's License
May be required to provide own transportation. If using own vehicle in the course of employment, must have proof of insurance.
THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS ARE REQUIRED AT THE TIME OF APPLICATION:
California Child Development Associate Teacher Permit or higher level permit.
Pediatric CPR/First Aid Certification
(SPECIAL NOTE: Copies of Permits should include the name of the permit, permit details, authorizations, and expiration date. You may obtain a copy from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing website at www.ctc.ca.gov.)

Salary Info
Range 7 CFS CSEA Classified Salary Schedule) Initial salary placement is restricted to a maximum of Step 3 ($24.00/hr)

BENEFITS: A Benefit Entitlement for health, dental and vision coverage is available for positions that are at least 4 hours per day. The amount of the entitlement is based on the number of hours worked per day.
