Drive PASA's Supplier Risk Management initiatives and reporting to predict, prevent, and recover from supply chain disruptions that could impact production or reputation. This role leads the identification, assessment, and mitigation of supplier risks including force majeure events, labor unrest, geopolitical volatility, quality failures, financial instability, supplier malfeasance, cybersecurity issues, and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) compliance violations with a strong focus on forced labor and ethical sourcing.
You will collaborate cross-functionally with global supply chain teams, procurement, engineering, legal, and commercial stakeholders to develop and communicate actionable risk mitigation strategies and ensure a resilient, compliant, and ethical supply base. The role also owns development of risk reporting tools and supplier risk mapping dashboards that support business continuity, compliance assurance, and executive-level decision-making.
Responsibilities:A DAY IN THE LIFE:
- Serve as the primary owner for identifying, assessing, and mitigating supplier risks across PASA’s global supply base.
- Lead CSR risk assessments and compliance programs with a particular focus on forced labor prevention, working in partnership with Legal, Procurement, and global suppliers.
- Map and maintain multi-tier supply chain visibility using internal and third-party tools to identify high-risk commodities, regions, and suppliers.
- Develop supplier risk scorecards and dashboards using Power BI, Excel, or other visualization tools to clearly communicate risk status by customer, commodity, and severity.
- Monitor supplier health indicators, including financial, operational, and compliance metrics, to provide early warnings and proactive solutions.
- Implement risk screening and tracking tools; onboard suppliers to platforms and ensure timely data accuracy.
- Collaborate with procurement, quality, and logistics teams to assess supplier business continuity and compliance posture.
- Respond to internal and customer-driven supplier risk questionnaires and audits.
- Conduct due diligence and ongoing assessments for both new and existing suppliers.
- Drive the resolution of supplier incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and follow through on corrective action tracking.
- Lead development of contingency plans and escalation protocols for critical supplier situations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of global CSR regulations (e.g., Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act, EU Supply Chain Act) and other risk trends impacting the automotive sector.
- Regularly prepare and deliver executive-level presentations summarizing supplier risk exposure, mitigation progress, and compliance posture.
MUST-HAVES:
- Four-year college degree in Business, Engineering or equivalent related area
- Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive experience in supplier risk management, CSR/ESG compliance, supply chain resilience, or strategic procurement roles
- Demonstrated ownership of enterprise-level CSR or supply chain risk programs, ideally within a Tier 1 automotive environment or other complex global manufacturing setting
- Proven experience implementing multi-tier supplier mapping tools and risk classification frameworks, including third-party platforms (e.g., EcoVadis, NQC, Resilinc, Assent, Sourcemap, Sedex, Dun & Bradstreet)
- Deep understanding of regulatory and customer requirements around human rights, forced labor, conflict minerals, environmental compliance, and ethical sourcing (e.g., UFLPA, EU CS3D, German Supply Chain Act, REACH, Dodd-Frank)
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP) and supplier risk platforms
- Understanding of automotive quality and compliance standards
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT solution architecture and 3 years of team management experience is preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze complex business problems and design effective technology solutions, are required.
