Optimizing Systems to Empower the Business
Smart Warehousing is seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled HRIS Manager to oversee and optimize the HR information systems (HRIS) for our organization. This role, reporting into the Chief People Officer, is pivotal in ensuring the integrity, functionality, and efficiency of our HR systems and data. The HRIS Manager will act as a trusted advisor on workforce analytics, lead system upgrades and implementations, and develop protocols for data integrity and security. This position also offers the opportunity to influence key business decisions through data-driven insights and process improvements.
What You’ll Do
As the HRIS Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind the evolution of our HR systems, systems administration, and maintenance. Acting as a trusted internal advisor, you’ll leverage workforce data and analytics to elevate business objectives. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Manage all aspects of HRIS functionality, data management, reporting, and operations.
- Evaluate and enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of HR systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify analytics needs, using system capabilities to achieve business objectives.
- Oversee the development and implementation of updated systems, dashboards, reports, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain the integrity, security, and compliance of HR data and systems.
- Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve complex system and data issues.
- Lead vendor relationships and stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Support compliance reporting
- Re-engineer HR administrative processes to enhance efficiency and performance.
- Develop and deliver training and process documentation for end users.
- Lead project management for HR technology initiatives.
- Supervise the daily responsibilities of the HRIS Coordinator.

- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, plus 3+ years in HRIS/HCM administration or HRMS consulting.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in relational databases, data integration, and advanced data management tools, including Access, BI tools, and SQL.
- Analytical Mindset: Skilled in managing complex data sets, creating dashboards, and delivering actionable insights.
- Excel Proficiency: Advanced knowledge, including writing macros and complex formulas.
- Collaboration: Experience working in HR functions (recruiting, benefits, compensation) and the business with a passion for improving processes and systems.
- Problem Solver: Ability to troubleshoot, identify opportunities, and propose effective recommendations.
