Exciting Opportunity: Dental Treatment Coordinator with Sales Experience at Clinton Dental Group!
Clinton Dental Group, a high-production, patient-focused practice located in Clinton, MD, is seeking a motivated, sales-driven, and detail-oriented Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our dynamic team. Position Details:
- Schedule: Full-time (Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM–5:00 PM). No weekends.
- Hourly Rate: $27–$28 per hour, based on experience, plus generous commission benefits for high earning potential
- Work Location: In-person – Clinton, MD

Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
Our ideal candidate is an experienced dental professional with a proven track record of presenting and selling treatment plans, strong sales skills, excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of financial and insurance processes. You will play a key role in ensuring seamless patient experiences, maximizing treatment acceptance, and driving office revenue.
- Experience: 2+ years as a Dental Treatment Coordinator or a similar sales-oriented role.
- Sales & Communication Skills: Proven ability to educate, persuade, and close treatment plans effectively.
- Dental Knowledge: Strong understanding of dental procedures, treatment coordination, and patient education.
- Insurance Expertise: Proficient in union insurance,in-network, out-of-network billing, and third-party financing such as CareCredit, Lending Club, and Sunbit.
- Technology Skills: Familiarity with Open Dental (preferred), Asana, Zoom, and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Forms) for communication and workflow management.
- Time Management & Decision-Making: Strong problem-solving skills for scheduling, billing, and case presentations.
- Patient Retention & Experience: Dedicated to enhancing patient satisfaction and retention through strategic communication and service excellence.
Your Responsibilities:
- Present & Manage Treatment Plans: Clearly explain comprehensive treatment plans and financial options to patients in close collaboration with the clinical team.
- Drive Treatment Acceptance & Sales: Utilize strong sales techniques and persuasive communication to help patients commit to recommended treatments.
- Coordinate Third-Party Financing: Assist patients with CareCredit, Lending Club, and other financial options.
- Support Accounts Receivable (AR): Help with patient and insurance collections.
- Support Insurance & Billing: Help verify in-network (INN) and out-of-network (OON) insurance, manage insurance breakdowns, and process claims.
- Collaborate with the Team: Work closely with dentists, hygienists, and office staff to ensure seamless patient flow.
- Monitor & Improve KPIs: Track key performance indicators (treatment acceptance, sales conversions, collections, and net production) to enhance practice success.
- Ensure an Organized & Efficient Office: Multitask across treatment coordination, sales, scheduling, and administrative responsibilities.
