We are committed to delivering excellent customer service while maintaining a work culture fostering community, collaboration and innovation. We are seeking a full-time Social Media and Reputation Management Specialist to join our team at our corporate office located in Newport Beach, CA.
The Social Media and Reputation Management Specialist is an extension of our in-house creative and marketing team, being responsible for not just posting content but actively shaping our brand voice, visuals, and online reputation. This position is responsible for being a content creator, community builder, reputation manager, and creative marketing assistant.
Social Media Management & Content Creation:
- Conceptualize, create, and schedule original content across Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.
- Craft actionable insights and recommendations to optimize content strategy, user experience, and follower acquisition.
- Capture high-quality photo and video content for social media using professional or mobile cameras.
- Edit short-form videos and reels with trending sounds, text overlays, and effects.
- Work closely with the marketing and design teams to ensure brand consistency in visual and written content.
- Assist with content planning, brainstorming, and campaign execution.
Reputation & Community Management:
- Monitor brand mentions and sentiment across social media, review platforms, and forums.
- Respond strategically and promptly to customer feedback, reviews, and social media comments with proper approval
- Collaborate with customer service teams to ensure a unified brand voice.
Marketing & Administrative Support:
- Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns.
- Help with light design work for digital and print materials (Canva, Adobe Suite experience is a plus).
- Maintain an organized content calendar, track performance metrics, and compile reports on social media insights.
- Periodically audit and update best practices documents and guidelines as the industry and platforms evolve.
- Support team members with administrative tasks as needed.
Filming, Photography & Production Assistance:
- Operate cameras and assist in capturing high-quality brand visuals.
- Set up lighting, framing, staging, and sound for in-house video shoots.
- Work closely with designers, videographers, and other creatives to bring concepts to life.
- Other duties as assigned.
- All duties and responsibilities shall be performed as set forth in our established policies and procedures.
- Adheres to and assures compliance with Standards of Conduct, company policies and procedures and all applicable rules, regulations and standards as promulgated by Federal, State and accrediting agencies or regulating bodies. This includes, but is not limited to, Department of Housing and other applicable regulatory agencies.
Education, Training and Experience Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing.
- A strong understanding of how to film, photograph, and edit content for social media.
- Experience with tools like Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Brandwatch (or similar) for monitoring and engagement.
- Proficiency with design/editing software (Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar).
- Excellent copywriting skills—you know how to make content pop.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- A deep understanding of social media trends, audience engagement, and what makes people stop scrolling.
- Travel to properties is expected to capture social media content.
