Available Shifts:

  • 3rd shift Sunday-Thursday 10:30pm-7:00am  $19.38  + $1.00 shift differential per hour

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  •  Monitor machinery that pours tempered chocolate into molds to form 10-pound bars
  • Monitor and control required temperatures in the different phases of production until the product reaches suitable properties according to specifications
  • Identify, report and communicate operational issues with the production team in a timely manner
  • Report any defective materials, missing or damaged tools, or questionable conditions to Supervisor
  • Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
  • Ensure critical control point compliance documenting US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) results, magnet cleaning, downtime, waste generation; report any non-conformities
  • Rotate into other production areas and perform additional duties where resources may be needed
  • Collaborate with co-workers on the plant floor throughout production cycle
  • Pick up other tasks that may be needed during downtime (maintaining clean work areas, etc.)
  • Operate within the Blommer core values of respect and care for others

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to remain in a stationary position (sitting or standing) for prolonged periods of time
  • Able to set up, adjust and operate machinery
  • Regularly required to bend, stoop, and reach
  • Able to observe and detect issues
  • Occasionally ascend/descend stairs
  • Occasionally move materials weighing up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis
  • Constantly operate within a manufacturing product environment - daily exposure to noise, dust and variation in temperature (hot/cold)
