Personal Care Worker Opportunity:

The Personal Care Worker assists developmentally disabled clients with their daily routine in programming and services as a job coach at community employment sites.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The pay range for this role is $14.99 - $16.33 based on experience.
  • This is a part-time, in-person role at our Antigo Adult Day Services location.

  • As a full-time employee of NCHC, you would be eligible for the Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS). The WRS is a hybrid defined benefit plan. It contains elements of both a 401(k) or defined contribution plan and a defined benefit plan. Participating staff contribute 6.95% and NCHC will match this at 100% each pay period!

What Qualifies You:

  • One year of experience with developmentally disabled individuals, or equivalent experience.
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Person Centered service in all interactions.

What a Personal Care Worker does at NCHC:

  • Assists staff and clients in structured educational, independent living and/or social/recreational
  • Assist consumers with activities of daily living, including toileting, assistance with eating.
  • Provide care and supervision of consumers within the service area and the community.
  • Transport clients to structured activities.
  • Coach and assist clients with individual goals. Monitor progress or lack of progress toward goals.
  • Track and handle client money.
  • Effectively partner within the community to achieve positive client outcomes.
  • Provide in-house and community-based activity groups as assigned.
  • Document client goals, outcomes, activities of daily living, medication administration, etc.
  • Effectively conduct medication administration.
  • Functions as a treatment team
  • Adheres to scheduled working hours with regular and predictable attendance.
