Job Description:BryceTech is looking for an Experienced Program Manager with experience leading complex teams of technical and acquisition experts. Candidate should be comfortable communicating to clients, contracting officers, and senior Defense Department stakeholders about acquisition strategy, technology maturation, small business innovation, data management, and analytics. The ideal candidate has managed high-functioning teams of at least 10 personnel for federal S&T related programs (preferably within the defense innovation ecosystem), has demonstrated success growing and developing organizations through leadership, and brings an intensive customer focus. Responsibilities include:
- Primary government point of contact and overall lead for contracted effort
- Manage cross-functional teams of analysts, acquisition personnel, and subject matter experts, including assigning tasking to other contractor personnel, supervising ongoing technical efforts, and managing overall performance
- Ensure coordination and efficient performance across multiple geographically separated locations
- Ensure project teams deliver solutions that meet all contractual requirements and customer expectations including technical performance, quality, and cost
- Coordinate closely with the government client to efficiently execute tasks and pivot to client needs, excelling in both collaborative and independent efforts
- Proactively develop and maintain strong customer relationship, serving as a trusted advisor and relied on support system
- Regularly brief senior leadership on project status, recommended courses of action, and team impacts
- Manage contract resources including financial and administrative oversight with respect to executing contract requirements
- Quickly respond to government questions, concerns, or comments and proactively alert the government to potential contractual or programmatic issues
- Critically evaluate situations and making decisions as required to solve analytical, management, and programmatic issues
- Drive focused strategic planning, customer and stakeholder engagement, results measurement, and alignment with client expectations
- Lead the reporting for all status reports and deliverables preferred
- Masters's degree in a business or technical discipline.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or related DAWIA certifications are preferred
- 10+ years of proven experience in program management, with a track record of successfully managing complex, multi-project initiatives
- 10+ years of professional experience supporting defense acquisition with 3 recent years supporting Navy acquisition management across different phases.
- Demonstrated experience configuration control, T&E, and integration across both hardware and software programs
- Proficiency in program management software like Microsoft Project and Jira
- Experience with DoD 5000 series requirements and Navy policies and procedures
- Strong skills in risk management, budgeting, and financial planning
- Excellent stakeholder management and strategic planning abilities
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
- Ability to travel within the United States as needed
- Strong decision-making skills and a visionary approach to program management
- Proven ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve program objectives
