Job Summary The Ratio Paraprofessional provides academic and behavioral support to students in regular, special education, and independent educational settings. This part-time position plays an important role in supervising students, assisting teachers, and helping ensure a safe and positive learning environment. The paraprofessional works closely with staff to meet student needs while maintaining a supportive and inclusive atmosphere.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to supervise and support students in a variety of settings
Strong teamwork skills with teachers and support staff
Effective oral and written communication skills
Understanding of student needs and ability to respond appropriately
Successful completion of all mandated criminal background checks and fingerprinting
Job Description
Schedule: 150 days per year, 3-4 hours per day, 4-day school week
Provide instructional and academic support for students
Assist in regular education, special education, and independent educational settings
Supervise students throughout the school day to ensure safety and engagement
