Position: Kindergarten Teacher
Hours: 1.0 FTE
Salary: Per Teachers' Master Agreement 2023-25
Reports to: Building Principal
Essential Job Functions: - In cooperation with the regular classroom teachers, provides direct instruction to students.
- Have knowledge and understanding of the cognitive, social, and emotional characteristics, needs, and problems found in students as a result of their atypical mental development.
- Understand and utilize best practices and strategies to support students in the classroom.
- Develop and implement a flexible, individualized, enriching curriculum appropriate to meeting the sudent's needs.
- Collaborate with other district teachers through regular meetings.
- Experience working with students, curriculum, and cluster model preferred.
Qualifications: - Elementary Ed License.
- Knowledgeable regarding relevant technology and proficient in its use.
