St. Patrick School, a faith-based PreK–8 Catholic school located in Chatham, New Jersey, is seeking a qualified and caring Elementary Grade Teacher to fill an anticipated maternity leave position from October 2025 through March 2026. The ideal candidate will provide a smooth instructional transition and maintain a nurturing, faith-filled classroom environment that supports student learning and development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or related field (required)

• NJ Teacher Certification or eligibility

• Strong classroom management and instructional skills

• Commitment to Catholic education and values

• Ability to collaborate with colleagues and communicate effectively with families

Responsibilities:

• Implement lesson plans aligned with curriculum and school expectations

• Maintain classroom routines and provide a consistent learning environment

• Support the academic, spiritual, and social-emotional growth of all students

• Communicate regularly with school leadership and families to ensure continuity of instruction
