The Package
- Starting salary of £21,000 per annum (increasing to NMW after 12 months)
- 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays
- Workings hours are 9am - 5.30pm or 10pm - 6.30am (night shifts) - Monday to Friday

What will I be doing as an apprentice?
This apprenticeship offers a strong foundation for a future career in asbestos management and surveying, with the chance to develop a wide range of practical and technical skills in a supportive, safety-focused environment.
- Engage in extensive learning, following training and procedures accurately.
- Observe and learn from colleagues to develop technical skills.
- Assist in managing laboratory tasks, preparing technical reports, and completing job-related records.
- Carry out tests, inspections, and sample handling in line with quality and safety standards.
- Maintain a safe, clean working environment and follow all health, safety, and emergency procedures.
- Care for equipment, avoid waste, and report damage or faults promptly.
- Support company promotion at fairs and conferences where required.
- Contribute to risk assessments, incident reporting, and the company’s safety culture.
- Produce reports and documentation for review and approval by senior staff.

You may choose to pursue recognised qualifications such as the P405 Asbestos Surveying Certificate, P402 Asbestos Management Awareness, or the P403 Asbestos Project Management qualification to advance your career.

You understand the importance of following health and safety procedures to the letter, especially when working with hazardous materials, and you always put safety first for yourself, your team, and the public.
You’re personable and confident in meeting new people, building good rapport with customers while maintaining a professional approach. Keen to learn and develop your skills, you can stay calm under pressure and think on your feet to solve problems when challenges arise.
You’re organised, able to prioritise tasks effectively, and committed to delivering high-quality work as part of a team. Above all, you’re ready to embrace the responsibility that comes with the role and make a positive contribution to the success and safety of every project you’re involved in.
Due to the nature of the role, you must be 18+ and have a valid UK driving license.

Eligibility
As a training provider, we are committed to ensuring that our apprenticeship programs deliver significant new knowledge and skills. To be eligible, applicants must demonstrate that the program will provide learning and experiences beyond their current qualifications and professional expertise.
If you already hold a Level 3, degree or equivalent higher-level qualification in a closely related field, or possess substantial relevant experience, you may not be eligible for apprenticeship funding, as these programmes are designed for individuals who require upskilling or reskilling in their chosen career pathway.
