As a Senior Manager – Category Management (Money) you will be comfortable working at pace across product and partnership lines to identify and deliver opportunities for CtM. This will include exploring existing portfolio performance and identifying opportunities to enhance meaningful commercial and/or customer outcomes; Proposing opportunities to lever and then to drive the change yourself – i.e. business case; defining the change required and the resource needed; Delivering the change – this is very much a ‘hands-on’ role whereby the job-holder will be accountable for the successful delivery of trading initiatives and their measurable outcomes.

 What you’ll be doing:

  • Defining and executing category strategies tailored to the Price Comparison market - aligning vertical product placement, promotions, pricing, and trading cadence to drive revenue and conversion across Money verticals
  • Building relationships with both internal (marketing, finance, tech teams) and external partners (third party providers) are essential.
  • Negotiating agreements, ensuring alignment, and securing effective supplier terms are part of optimizing performance
  • Lead, coach, develop and retain high-performing talent, ensuring appropriate succession planning, who can motivate and drive delivery of objectives
  • Find innovative ways to drive performance including the building and assessment of plans and investment cases for specific products or opportunities, prioritising the backlog of opportunities
  • Forecasting demand and pricing trends, analysing customer behaviours, and reviewing vertical performance. This includes using tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau or PowerBI to drive data-led decisions
  • Working with the P&L, profit margins, cost structures, ROI and managing vertical performance financially
