Hybrid Teacher Extra Hours (see description below for requirements and details) at Oxnard School District

THIS TRANSFER OPPORTUNITY IS ONLY AVAILABLE TO FULL TIME PERM/PROB TEACHING STAFF OF OXNARD SCHOOL DISTRICT

The Oxnard School District is seeking one experienced, certificated bilingual teacher to teach Plaza Comunitaria, a parent education program offered to parents in the Oxnard School District in collaboration with the California Association for Bilingual Education (CABE). The selected candidate will be responsible for planning, teaching, and assessing basic Spanish literacy and mathematics, helping parents develop their skills, finish their elementary studies, and possibly obtain a diploma from the Mexican education system. Some curriculum materials will be provided. The selected candidate will be required to attend a two-hour training for an overview of the curriculum and program expectations. Native Spanish speakers are preferred but not required. Tentative start date: November 3, 2025, through June 1, 2026. Instruction hours: 5:30-7:30 p.m. two times per week Paid planning time: 1 hour per week School Site: Ramona or Lemonwood School
