Job Summary
Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources provide responsible office support duties requiring an understanding of the operations, procedures and functions of the Human Resources department; greet and assist visitors, assist in assuring smooth and efficient office operations.

Must have a high school diploma or its equivalent.
Must have at least one year of clerical or secretarial experience
Human Resources experience desirable

Location: District Office
Work Schedule: 8.0 hrs./day, 5.0 days/week
Schedule: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
Sick leave and vacation are earned on a prorated basis at a rate of one day per month. There is an available insurance policy for hospitalization, major medical, dental, vision, and life. School employees must join the State School Employees Retirement System.
California School Employees Association Agreement Article VI, 6.1.3 states: “Voluntary transfer/promotion requests by an employee for an opening shall be given prior consideration over a new employee.” Article VI, 6.3.2 states: “When a new position is created or an existing position becomes vacant, the District shall first offer the opportunity to transfer or to seek promotion to bargaining unit employees.”
