QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Four-year degree from an accredited college or university preferred
2. Excellent Organizational/time Management Skills
3. Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships in the community
4. Valid driver's license and insurance

JOB GOALS: To facilitate the implementation of parent education supports and services in our early childhood programs.

EVALUATION: Assistant Director of Health & Family Engagement
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:- Prepares and distributes LENA Home recording devices to participating families.
- Facilitates distribution and collection of LENA devices from the students/families participating in the program.
- Schedules in-home appointments with families to implement the prescribed curriculum.
- Participates in all necessary professional development to ensure the fidelity of the program including developing a strong understanding of the importance of language development in the early years.
- Acting as an ambassador for the school districts as one of the first points of contact for families.
- Communicates all concerns to the supervisor.
- Maintains thorough records of visits made and families serviced.
- Displays loyalty to District No. 111, the School Board and its governance, policies and contracts.
- Supports the Mission and Vision of the District.
- Maintains a professional appearance.
- Maintains a professional and positive rapport with parents/co-workers/administration! School Board.
- Responsible for the management and maintenance of all technology and resources associated with the Parent Education I Home Visiting Program.
- Ability to create and write reports and correspond with parents and administration. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from administration, parents, students, staff members, and the public as requested.
- . Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
