Total Warehouse is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing Finance team. Requirements
Job Responsibilities:
- Support accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions
- Help ensure compliance with GAAP and evolving tax regulations
- Accurately categorize and reconcile credit card transactions
- Assist with month-end close procedures, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
- Contribute to process improvements to streamline accounting workflows
- Collaborate closely with team members across departments
- Maintain organized and well-documented financial records
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Education and Experience:
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; or 2-3 years of experience in accounting
- Familiarity with GAAP principles
- Strong Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas) or a demonstrated desire to learn
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar) is a plus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy
- Strong communication skills and a team player mentality
- Self-starter with a growth mindset, eager to learn and take on new challenges
- Passionate about continuous improvement and operational efficiency
