Under direction of Manager of Engineering Facilities, responsible for the safe, reliable and proper maintenance and operation of Company’s technical facilities, which typically includes compressor stations, renewable natural gas (RNG) receipt points and interconnect facilities, liquid natural gas (LNG) facilities, landfill facilities and propane plants. Responsible for ensuring the Company’s gas or electric facility operations remain compliant with Federal and State safety regulations. Provides direct leadership to facility personnel and technical assistance to field operations staff.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline, or the equivalent working knowledge obtained from experience with gas operations, facility operations, or engineering practice.
Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in natural gas utility or related industry.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of federal regulation code requirements Parts 192 and 193.
Prior supervisory experience.
Experience with compression, LNG, propane, RNG, or landfill operations of similar facilities.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Must take all measures necessary to protect networks, devices, programs and data from cyber-attack, damage or unauthorized access.
Required to maintain a valid driver’s license.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, no sponsorships considered.
Subject to pre-employment drug testing and background checks.
Requires travel: Moderate (up to 25%) within service territory.
JOB RESPONSIBILTIES
Provides leadership, oversight and planning for the operation, maintenance, repairs, upgrades and replacement of all Company technical facilities, including compressors, propane plants, LNG facilities, RNG and landfills.
Assists Engineering Services and Project Management during design, construction and documentation of complex facility installations and upgrades.
Within existing facilities, initiates projects, prepares scope, establishes schedules, creates detailed cost estimates, creates and manages project team, reviews and manages consultants and contractors, creates bid documents, evaluates and awards bids, documents change management.
Prepares and manages the capital and O&M budget for technical facilities, including upgrades, additions and replacement projects.
Prepares authorization and procurement documents such as material requisitions, work orders and work requests. Reviews and approves invoices on materials and services for accuracy and validity.
Performs other tasks and special projects as assigned.
Offers typically made between $114,580 - $143,220
