Hybrid Housekeeper at Jackson Rancheria Casino Resort

• Performs routine duties in the cleaning and servicing of guestrooms and baths and lobby under supervision of the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Prepares the room for cleaning, which includes making the bed, cleaning the bathroom, and closet. 
• Dusts the room and furniture.
• Checks room lights, TV, remote, radio alarm and secures room.
• Replenishes guestroom and bath supplies.
• Vacuums the carpet throughout the hotel including guestrooms.
• Vacuums and polishes elevators.
• Responsible for processing hotel laundry overseeing cleaning of all linens and bathrobes which includes folding and sorting the laundry. 
• Ensures laundry products leave the facility in a timely manner. 
• Must be able to clean with speed while maintaining close attention to detail and be able to communicate in English with guests,
• Must have a flexible schedule, and be available to work weekends and holidays.
• Must be detail oriented and stand for long periods of time.
• Works closely with the Housekeeping Supervisor and Director on inventory of all linens and bathrobes.   
• Empties ashtrays, garbage, polishes furniture and fixtures, sweeps and polishes lobby floors, keeping the hotel free from trash. 
• Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 

• Six months to 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of
• education and experience.

Pay range: $18.00 - $23.40 per hour

*Shift Differential: Non-Exempt employees will receive a $1.00 per hour shift differential for any hours worked between 10:00pm and 6:00am.

This is not a smoke free workplace.  Although we employ state-of-the-art air filtration systems, cigarette smoke is in the work environment.
