Job Summary
The Research Assistant will work closely with Professor Mike Brown to coordinate all community-building activities for 3CPE. In addition, they will provide instrument maintenance support for the laboratories of Professors Tejada, Farley, and Asimow.
Essential Job Duties
- Support administrative tasks for 3CPE.
- Manage 3CPE website.
- Organize 3CPE events.
- Support lab instrument maintenance in Tejada and Farley labs.
- Support lab experiments and instrument runs on ToF Mass Spectrometer in Asimow lab.
Basic Qualifications
- Master's in Earth Science or STEM field.
- Familiarity with mass spectrometers like the EA-IRMS and ToF-MS.
- Wet lab experience in sample prep for measurements on the above instruments.
- Administrative and event planning experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of organic geochemistry.
- Knowledge or participation in 3CPE activities.
