Hybrid Fleet Maintenance Technician at Irving Oil

As a Fleet Maintenance Technician, your goal is to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of Irving Oil’s fleet by performing high-quality preventative maintenance and repairs, minimizing vehicle downtime, and supporting overall garage operations. Your success will be defined by a combination of technical excellence, reliability, and teamwork.

Your Responsibilities:   

• Perform complex preventative and general maintenance 

• Perform mechanical and body work repairs 

• Conduct tractor and trailer inspections 

• Assist management in devising and implementing cost reduction initiatives 

• Perform other duties as required 

Your Skills:   

• Safety conscious; follow procedures accurately 

• Able to perform preventative maintenance and repairs 

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment 

• Strong written and verbal communication skills 

• Ability to work well with others 

• Effective collaborator and a team player 

Your Experience:   

• 2+ years of experience in general maintenance/mechanic 

• High School degree required
