Hybrid Propane Delivery Driver at Premier Cooperative

Description

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Propane Delivery Driver to join our energy services team. This role involves delivering propane to residential, agricultural, and commercial customers while ensuring excellent service and compliance with safety standards. Ideal candidates are mechanically inclined, customer-oriented, and comfortable working independently in all weather conditions.

• Safely operate delivery trucks to transport and deliver propane to customer locations.
• Load, secure, and unload propane tanks and bulk deliveries.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and customer documentation.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
• Monitor tank levels and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements (or willingness to obtain).
• Clean driving record and ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screening.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and work outdoors in varying conditions.

Prefer but not required:

• Prior experience in propane or fuel delivery.
• Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills.
• Customer service experience and strong communication skills.
