Job Description
SCS is seeking a motivated and skilled Marketing Intern t to join our dynamic team. This role is essential for enhancing our social media and online presence, maintaining brand consistency, and supporting a range of marketing initiatives, working to add market share through sales leads and also provide marketing support to aid in recruitment of employees. We are willing to work with your schedule 10-20 hours/week and full-time in the summers. Ideal candidates are social media or marketing majors, or a business major that has talent in Canva or graphic design. This position could lead to a full-time role upon graduation. 

Qualifications:
•Marketing-related major - must be a current student. 
•Proven experience in digital marketing.
•Design skills with expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
•Experience with photography. Experience in drone videography preferred, but not required.
•Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
•Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
•Self-starter who can work with little supervision
 
Job Responsibilities
  • Social Media Marketing: Establish and manage content on all social media platforms.
  • Content Creation: Design and produce various printed and digital materials using Adobe Suite and Canva, including banners, brochures, flyers, print publications, radio and other promotional images, ensuring brand alignment and a polished, professional presentation.
  • Photography and Videography: Capture high-quality photos and drone footage of construction job sites across the Midwest to showcase company projects for marketing and website purposes. Become drone certified.
  • Internal Communications: Author and distribute the company's internal monthly newsletter, improving communication and engagement within the organization.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of social media and online marketing initiatives. Provide actionable insights to inform strategic decisions and measure campaign performance.
  • Flexible Team Support: Perform a variety of additional tasks as needed, demonstrating adaptability and a commitment to supporting team and organizational objectives.
  • Sales Assistance: Work with sales to assist with creation of sales leads including assistance with trade shows, publications, sales leads services, etc.
  • Public Relations: Work to establish positive public relations in the communities that we serve through public service announcements, community involvement activities, charitable giving, etc.
