Description:
Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the requirements of the District's curriculum program and show written evidence of preparation as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree from an accredited university; valid Texas teaching certificate appropriate for assignment; meet Texas Highly Qualified requirements; ability to instruct students and manage their behavior; strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
General Expectations:
- Extensive and up-to-date knowledge of content area
- Ability to follow the High School TEKS
- Proven ability to gather and utilize both formative and summative assessments to create individualized learning plans to ensure students' success on State and Local assessments.
