We are a district that serves over 6,700 students and employs more than 750 employees in a northwestern suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Our district is comprised of one primary school for kindergarten students, three elementary schools for grades 1-4, two middle schools for grades 5-8, and one high school for grades 9-12. 

Position Overview & Responsibilities
Responsible for maintaining a safe pool environment by lifeguarding swimmers. For more information, please see the job description for this position.

Start date: 8/21/2025
Contract: Seasonal, School-Year
Schedule: Occasional dates throughout the school year, most dates will occur during the school year for an example, MEA, Winter break and Spring break. We often have events that may need to be covered such as activity nights, boy or girl scout troops and more. 

FTE: varies

Salary & Benefits

Starting Rate: $17.00 per hour

No benefit eligibility, other than Earned Safe and Sick Time (ESST) as provided by law.

Requirements & Qualifications
Requires a Lifeguard Training Certificate and must be 16 years old.
