Hybrid Migrant Clerk/Paraprofessional at Nashville School District

Qualifications:
*Frequent travel between school buildings and to homes is required
*Occasional overnight travel pertaining to professional development may be required
*Occasional evening work hours required for recruiting, district or regional events
*Bilingual preferred but not required
*Associate's Degree preferred but not required
*Must be highly qualified or be able to pass a paraprofessional Praxis exam
*Preferred candidates will have experience working in an educational environment
 
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
*In-school student tutoring or home visits for Priority-for-Services students, grades pre-K through 12^th/ accessing grades/attendance
*On-Track reporting for graduation requirements
*Coordination with district Administration/counselors for student schedules
*Age-appropriate student placement testing
*In-school tutoring or home visits for potential drop-outs
*Assist with planning for students & implementation of: Migratory Student Advisory Council (MSAC), Middle School Days, Summer School Curriculum and training, Parent Meetings and Cooperative Professional Developments, End-of-school-year paperwork
*Monthly reporting forms for Education Specialist and REDS
*Other MEP duties as assigned by the Regional Coordinator/Education Specialist and/or REDS
*Recruitment of potential families/students (COE Certification renewal annually by DMESC co-op staff)
