Job Summary
The Assistant Principal, Alternative Education supports the Principal in holding the educational vision for Alameda County Office of Education’s (ACOE) School Programs. We are looking for an educator who possesses an unrelenting belief that all students can achieve; a partner who is fully invested in multi-systems collaborative change; an aspiring school leader who will make a difference in shaping long-term outcomes.
Under the supervision of the Principal, the Assistant Principal supports the Principal’s instructional and administrative leadership for the ACOE School Programs. The Assistant Principal collaborates on educational efforts in alignment with the ACOE Vision and Mission while partnering with multiple agencies and educational partnerships dedicated to building effective educational programs and achieving equitable outcomes for our youth.

Requirements / Qualifications
Valid Clear California Teaching Credential.
Valid Clear Administrative Credential desired, will consider Preliminary Administrative Credential or Certificate of Eligibility.
Bachelor Degree required, Masters preferred
Have a minimum of five years of experience working with adolescents in an alternative school setting or serving vulnerable populations.
Have experience and a commitment to meeting the needs of all students, including students with significant learning gaps and special education needs.

Salary Info
Range 145, 7-Steps - Certificated Management; In addition to salary: Monthly Master Degree Stipend $1,500/annual | Doctoral Degree Stipend $2,500/annual, can receive both stipends
