Major Account Manager
Location: Georgetown, Delaware
Job Type: Full-Time
Reports To: CEO
Industry: Manufacturing / Construction (Tiny Homes/Recreation Park Models)
Position Overview:
We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Major Account Manager with strong project management expertise to oversee and support high-value client accounts in the recreation park model home manufacturing and construction sector. This role requires exceptional organizational and client-facing skills to manage complex, custom projects from proposal through production and delivery.
The ideal candidate has a background in construction, prefab or modular housing, or manufacturing, and thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. You will serve as the central point of contact between our clients and internal teams—ensuring that expectations are met, timelines are followed, and projects are delivered with excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Major Account Management
- Serve as the lead liaison for key customers and strategic accounts.
- Build trusted relationships with decision-makers, project stakeholders, and repeat clients.
- Translate client needs into actionable project requirements.
- Project Management
- Oversee full lifecycle of client projects—from initial scoping, budgeting, and scheduling through production and final delivery.
- Coordinate with internal departments including design, logistics, production, and quality assurance to ensure milestones are met.
- Proactively manage timelines, resources, and potential risks to keep projects on track.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation including timelines, client approvals, and change orders.
- Cross-functional Communication
- Act as the primary communication source between clients and internal teams.
- Facilitate project meetings, progress updates, and internal handoffs.
- Provide consistent reporting on project status and key deliverables.
- Industry-Specific Expertise
- Leverage your knowledge of construction processes, materials, and building codes to guide clients through complex decisions.
- Stay current with trends in tiny home construction, sustainability, and alternative housing models.
Qualifications:
- 3–5+ years of experience in project management, client-facing roles, or account coordination.
- Background in construction, modular building, prefab manufacturing, or related industry.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience working with CRM, project tracking tools (e.g., Monday.com, Asana, Smartsheet), and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to read and understand basic architectural drawings or technical specs a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in tiny homes, sustainable building, or off-grid construction models.
- PMP certification or formal project management training.
