We are currently looking to add an experienced Project Manager to our Program Management Team that will work cross-functionally across the Bank. This position is responsible for managing the diligence and onboarding of new strategic partners, deployment of existing partner’s new strategic initiatives, as well as managing bank departmental or enterprise projects.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate efforts to onboard new strategic partners through the due diligence process, and up to the point of program implementation.
- Lead and coordinate efforts to implement existing strategic partner’s new products that require due diligence review.
- Lead departmental and enterprise level projects, as assigned, from initiation to closure, creating and updating all supporting project documentation (e.g. project scope, requirements, project plans, status updates, post-mortem reviews).
- Track and report project milestones and provide status reports and outcomes to leadership team.
- Facilitate cross-departmental communication and knowledge transfer.
- Appropriately balance speed of execution & quality of execution, while creatively overcoming barriers, impediments, and surprises that risk success of program rollout.
- Build deep working relationships with all functional department of the Bank.
- Lead, coach, and motivate project team members on a proactive basis.
- Clearly communicate expectations to team members and stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree (in business preferred) and/or 5 years of applicable experience in a consumer or commercial lending environment (including regulatory compliance).
- Experience with risk management, lending/servicing operations, and audit functions.
- Interpersonal skills to adapt approach and build trust with internal and external business relationships.
- PMP or CAPM certification is a huge plus.
- Decision-making skills to assess information and arrive at your own decision.
- Leadership and teambuilding skills to reach consensus across multiple perspectives.
- Project management skills to coordinate activities across business units.
