Summary
  • The Clinical Nurse performs patient assessment and follows established standards and practices for nursing care. May delegate responsibilities and provide clinical oversight to other unlicensed nursing staff.  (Licensed RN fulfilling a role within the clinic in which an RN is not required - compensation is commensurate with the clinic LPN scale).
  • This position is employed by Mosaic Life Care.
Duties
  • Greets and prepares patient for provider examination and treatment. Performs general nursing care to patients.
  • Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards.
  • Assists provider with procedures and properly maintains equipment before and after procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Graduate of a school of nursing is required. BSN is preferred.
  • RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure And/Or Compact State Licensure - State Licensure And/Or Compact State Licensure in state, depending upon designated work location upon hire is required. ClinicalBCLS - Basic Life Support within 90 Days is required.
  • 1 Year - Hospital or clinic nursing experience is preferred.
